About Me

Jelena was born in 1981 in Tallinn, Estonia, where she first graduated from Tallinn Art School in 1999, and then got a bachelor degree in Industrial Design of Estonian Academy of Arts in 2004. For 6 years time her main passion was bespoke furniture design and she moved to London, UK to work as a designer for high end kitchen furniture distributor of popular Dutch, German and Italian furniture brands. At the same time Jelena started serious yoga practice that awakened passion for painting and drawing. As of year 2013 under the name of Nova Art her paintings are sold to private collectors in USA, Hungary, Italy, Estonia, Finland, UK and UAE. Jelena is currently located in her home country Estonia, where she together with her designer colleagues released hand-drawn series of souvenirs for local market. In 2014 Nova Art pop-up store opened for short period of time in London's Old Spitalfields Market.
