Tangerines

I painted this still life with following my painting style with the reality as a principle, but trying to have a different and less conventional result.
The elements are suspended in a liquid that catches its reflection and balances the composition.
I usually use larger sizes for this kind of paintings, however I thought that this canvas size was the appropriate for this subject.
Why tangerines?, The appearance of its peel, the texture and color have always attracted me…, the plasticity of the forms of this fruit , and how the light fall on it is extremely irresistible to be painted.
