Shoeshine Boy

This image was created from a photograph taken in an Ecuadorian marketplace by a friend. I enjoyed the narrative and creating the folds of material using sharpened pastel pencils. One can imagine being there and absorbing the atmosphere! It was created in soft pastel and pastel pencils on Artspectrum Colourfix paper. It is sold in a frame and courier delivered to your door to avoid damage to the painting.
